Moses Addai is a development professional and researcher with a strong focus on rural development, sustainable livelihoods, community resilience, and environmental sustainability. He currently serves as a Project Manager with Women in Water, Sanitation and Climate Change (WWSCC), where he contributes to research and project activities in WASH, climate change, gender inclusion, and community development. His work includes preparing project documents and reports, supporting community- and school-based initiatives, developing communication materials, and contributing to grant proposals aimed at advancing sustainable development and community impact.

With experience spanning research, teaching, project management, and community engagement, Moses has contributed to studies addressing women’s economic empowerment and poverty reduction, collective action among small-scale farmers, employment and financial inclusion for women and youth, and community-based financial systems in rural development. He has worked as a Research Assistant with Think Smart Research Consult and the Department of Geography and Rural Development at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), developing skills in research design, surveys, interviews, participatory research, field data collection, data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. His professional experience also includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at KNUST, Community Service Chairperson with Arena Global Outreach Foundation, Community Health Worker with Hope Alliance Foundation, and Project Supervisor with Verd Foundation.

Moses’s expertise and research interests span rural livelihood sustainability, poverty reduction, local development, governance, smallholder communities, human-environment relations, and community resilience. He holds a Master of Arts in Local Development from the University of Padua, Italy, and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Rural Development from KNUST, Ghana. His professional development also includes training in research processes and results-based management. Through his academic, research, and community-based experience, Moses is committed to contributing to evidence-based policies and development initiatives that strengthen sustainable livelihoods, reduce inequalities, improve community resilience, and promote equitable and locally grounded development.
