Objectives

  1. Gender-Responsive Solutions: Develop and implement innovative, gender-responsive solutions that integrate women’s perspectives and needs into water, sanitation, and climate adaptation strategies.
  2. Capacity Building: Strengthen the skills and knowledge of women in water and sanitation management, climate resilience, and leadership, enabling them to actively participate in decision-making processes.
  3. Equitable Access: Ensure equitable access to clean water and sanitation facilities for women, particularly in vulnerable and marginalized communities, and provide support for climate-resilient infrastructure.
  4. Awareness and Advocacy: Raise awareness about the gendered impacts of climate change on water and sanitation, advocating for policies and practices that prioritize women’s empowerment and well-being.
  5. Data-Driven Insights: Collect, analyze, and disseminate gender-disaggregated data to inform evidence-based policies and programs that address the intersection of water, sanitation, and climate issues.
  6. Women’s Health and Dignity: Improve women’s health and dignity by promoting proper menstrual hygiene management, safe sanitation facilities, and access to clean water, particularly in disaster-prone areas.
