Sandra Serwaa Kyere is the Founder of Women in Water Sanitation and Climate Change, Ghana. She is currently a member of the Global Water Operators Partnership Alliance (GWOPA). Sandra holds leadership positions in some environmental advocacy organizations in Ghana. She is currently the Vice Chairman of the Public Services Workers Union, TUC of the Environmental Protection Agency, Ghana and handles welfare related issues of staff. She has participated in several global interventions which has equipped her skills and knowledge in implementing developmental activities in the communities of Ghana. In March and September 2023, Sandra participated in UN Water Conference in New York, USA, a Workshop on Water Quality Monitoring and Assessment in Petten, Netherlands and a capacity building program on Human Rights and the Environment in Geneva, Switzerland respectively.

She has over the years built capacities in EIA Administration, Global Standards for Nature-based Solutions, Petroleum Management, Environmental Planning and implementation, Natural Resources for Sustainable Development. Her experiences has equiped her to contribute positively to the development of plans, guidelines, policies and regulations in Ghana. She holds MSc. Degree in Project Management from University of Cape Coast, Ghana. BA Degree in Economics and Linguistics from University of Ghana. Certificate in The Power of Markets (Micro and Macro Economics- University of Rochester, USA), Certificate in the Basics of Petroleum Management, Norway, Certificate in Environmental Planning and Implementation, Delft- Netherlands, Certificate in Process Safety and Environmental Impact Assessment (UK), Certificate in Natural Resources for Sustainable Development (SDG Academy), Certificate in BOSIET CA-EBS 5750- OPITO, Certificate in Human Rights and the Environment- Switzerland, and Certificate in Leadership Development, South Africa.

Sandra S. Kyere works for the Environmental Protection Agency, Ghana as a Senior Programme Officer. She is experienced in several ways such as Environmental Impact Assessment, Project Management, Community Engagement and Awareness Raising, Oil Spill Contingency Planning and Response, Shoreline Clean-up and Assessment Techniques and Waste Management, among many others.

Sandra is self-motivated, innovative, sociable, result-oriented and an industrious lady who has respect for confidentiality. She is married with two adorable children.
